Swatch It Up: Happy Skin Lip Mallow Mousse Coffee Edition in Fresh Brew | Shades and Highlights

Even if we are always using masks outside, I still have the passion to try on new lip products.

Now, I am going to show you the swatches of Happy Skin’s Lip Mallow Mousse Coffee Edition in Fresh Brew. This is my first time buying and trying this lippie and I am so curious as to how it feels on the lips because of its consistency as a mousse which is by the way also new to me. I am more into the traditional bullet and liquid lipsticks.

Okay, let’s see how it looks!

Net Wt. 3mL, packaging looks really sleek with matte finish

What made me buy this is the scent. It has the most addicting coffee scent which is very true to its name.  As a coffee lover, this lippie for me is divine! I super love it!

It glides smoothly on the lips and it really has this amazing soft mousse consistency. It won’t make your lips dry. I swear! I also love the pigmentation. For me, this is a very nice MLBB shade. It also has SPF 15.

Here are the swatches:

Taken under natural lighting.

As you can see on the swatches above, the color payoff is really nice. This is my type of nude lip. You can blend it for that super subtle look or just swipe it as is. This is kinda pricey but for me, it’s really worth it coz I really love the coffee. Hehehe!

Here are my ratings:

Pigmentation:  ★ ★ ★ ★
Application: ★  ★ ★ ★
Formula:  ★ ★ ★ ☆
Texture:  ★ ★ ★
Longevity:  ★ ★ ★  ☆
Scent: ★  ★ ★ ★
Packaging: ★  ★ ★ ★
Affordability:  ★ ★  ☆

Overall, I really love this lipstick but it is a bit pricey for its size. It retails for 549 Php. But as I said it is totally worth it for me because of my love for coffee. I think I’m gonna try other shades soon! Have you tried this lippie from Happy Skin? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.

How are you guys doing? Where did the last six months go? It went by so fast just like that! The world would never be the same again with all that's been going on right now. How are you guys holding up? I hope you guys are safe and healthy.

To lighten the mood, I want to share with you the swatches of these three gorgeous MAC lipsticks, Sultry Move, A Little Tamed, and MAC Maker @mainedcm.

L-R: @mainedcm (MAC Maker), A Little Tamed (Powder Kiss), Sultry Move (Powder Kiss)

The shades are definitely flattering for all skin tones. Here are the swatches on my hand.

And here are the swatches on my lips with natural light. Please excuse my chapped lips. Hehehe!

Overall, I really love all three shades. My favorite is Sultry Move. I am loving a natural MLBB look these days. Always ready for those Zoom meetings!

Maybelline New York The Magnum Big Shot Volum’Express Waterproof Mascara Review | Shades and Highlights

Hi guys!

I know I have been MIA here in my beauty blog. I haven't updated for a year!
There had been a lot going on but don't worry, I am back to writing makeup reviews for you guys and I hope I will still be able to help you in my own little way through this platform.

Okay so, now that I am back, I am going to share what I have been obsessing when it comes to makeup - I have been so obsessed  Maybelline New York's The Magnum Big Shot Volum’Express Waterproof Mascara!

Maybe I'm already late to this mascara hype or I have discovered this mascara too late compared to you guys but hey! I'm still here for the real tea!!! *sips imaginary tea*

Anyways, so here it is...

It is in gold and has a regular-sized wand.

About to repurchase this as it absolutely gives my lashes life! The volumizing effect is superb as you can see below.⠀

See the difference compared to my my bare lashes? Crazy right?⠀
Taking it off is not as difficult as you think, provided that it is waterproof.
I just take one cotton ball, add few drops of baby oil, and wipe away!

Then, proceed with cleansing your face and all of your skincare routine. Just make sure that before you go to sleep, that all the oils are washed off from your eyelids. We don’t want irritated eyes in the morning! Or worse, getting a pink eye from all the oil buildup!

I haven’t tried removing with micellar water but I will be testing it out in a few weeks as I am just waiting for my Garnier micellar water to arrive, which I will do a review soon! I will keep you posted. ⠀

Waterproof? YES
Will it smudge? - NOPE!
Budget-friendly? YES
Availability: in-store (supermarkets, drugstores, malls, stalls, and online)

Have you tried this mascara? Or do you have any mascara that you would recommend for me to try? let me know in the comments.
