Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a technique that I am using for years now whenever I ran out of gel or liquid liner and this is using my mascara as a substitute for eyeliner for a perfect cat eye.

So, first, just get your favorite mascara preferably with a waterproof formula and an angle brush or in my case, I have this empty felt tip eyeliner pen from E.L.F.

Start by lining your eyelid at the center. Do this carefully and as close to your lash line as possible. Then  working your way out. Finish it by filling up the inner part of your eyelid.

The reason why I usually start at the center is that there might be a lot of product on your eyeliner brush and if you start at the inner corner, it might be too thick for you. So, just to be safe, start at the center.

You may leave it as is or you may create a cat eye. [see pictures below]

And there you go! As easy as 1, 2, 3.

The mascara that I am using here is Skin Food's My Shortcake Setting Mascara. It doesn't smudge at all, it dries quickly, and  lasts for hours. You may use whatever mascara you want; drug store brand or high end, it doesn't matter.

I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Let me know in the comments if  you have tried this and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

That'll be all for now. Have a great day everyone!
